What is a Market Development Manager?
An experienced sales professional with exceptional persuasive skills, customer service expertise, and a knack for innovative problem-solving. This role requires a passion for expanding existing accounts, actively pursuing new ones, and overcoming obstacles to business growth. We value creativity, tailored solutions, and fostering deep connections between clients and our company. Responsibilities:
  • Target and prospect new business opportunities with guidance from the On Premise Division Manager.
  • Lead contract renewal process for assigned customers.
  • Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction and successful new business development.
  • Maintain stocked coolers and conduct timely stewardship reviews with customers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and drive progressive growth with assigned customers.
  • Enhance brand assortment and availability through effective promotional programs.
  • Implement Point of Sale activation plans for customers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Demonstrated experience of 2+ years in outside sales.
  • Ability to periodically lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and kneel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Base pay range is $50,000 to $60,000 plus bonus structure. Pay offered will depend on candidates geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
